Hi
This is new to me and I think new to our generation to start expressing our thoughts openly without getting bogged down by peer pressure and propah' behaviour expectations. I maybe feeling like this because of my personal baggage.
I decided to start a blog so that I can start writing a piece more regularly and to develop a relationship with few or many like-minded individuals to start developing this into a more structured and organized setup.
I still haven't given a clue on what I want to talk about. Well there are a few things that I would want to start discussing. These are:
- Corruption in all walks of life - both in first/ second and third world - what we the citizens of the world can do to organize ourselves to get to its root. Clean politics up to improve governance. Public position should not translate to power, favouritism and bipartisanism;
- Environment and Climate Change - how we can make big business and rich governments to start doing things right- not just trade in Carbon and a lot of lip service;
- How each of us can collaborate over this fantastic medium to cooperate and create a better world - one day at a time. Small things that make this world better. It is possible only through the medium of communication and let us help our fellow citizens around the world.
These all might seem utopian and you might perceive me to be somewhat naive to assume that anyone can bring about this change. Well, someone somewhere has to start and I assume lot of good is happening and a lot of you out there are doing your bit. I just wanted to provide a medium for this discussion - this is not for international aid or trade.
This is my first blog ever. I will start with ideas on improving governance in my next blog
